Winter is Coming
I'm rather sad that it seems we are losing our spring and autumn. It seems to be hot and dry much longer than it used to and here it is October and I've already had on socks! That may not sound like a monumental weather check to many, but in my little corner of influence, it's huge! I wear sandals or go barefoot, basically year round. Oh, I've got some boots for the annual snowfall and even some town boots just in case I have some sort of vehicular issue and have to walk, but I spend a good 10 months of the year close to barefooted. Now here I've been trying to celebrate Sukkot, which amounts to camping and it's been just a bit frosty. Seems the older I get the more the cold seems to settle in my bones. It's mid sixties right now, but I've got my fleece jacket on and socks on stand-by. I keep telling myself, it's my broken arm that is intensifying my sensitivity to cold and maybe it is, but I feel like my office is bearing the appearance and aroma of the day room at the local long term care facility! I've been on a quest to find the perfect herbal remedy for pain relief and I think I've got a pretty good oil mixture in the works. G-ma's Liniment Balm is great for muscle and joint aches and pains, but this "bad to the bone" pain has taken a bit of ingenuity and fortunately, I've been tenacious. I'll be adding a new product to the natural health line of Tribally Yours in the next few weeks. I love homesteading, I love ministry, and I love these businesses I've started. Not usually are mistakes instrumental in ministry, although my testimony does contain some horrible warnings that I hope spares others some trial, error, and heartache, and my life is proof, G-d will forgive; but in homesteading sometimes a mistake launches a new and improved method, a new recipe, or a new product . . . and my broken wing has done just that! It would seem, a mistake in bedding plant labeling will be instrumental in an organic pesticide and pain relief. G-d is so economical. HE can get a lot of mileage out of one plant. Of course, the big Pharmaceutical companies know that too, I'm sure! I won't be placing a patent on my special oil, because the ingredients are created by G-d, but I will make the special product available through my online business. The grand opening will be soon and I'll even give a blog fan discount, so stay tuned for further details. Meanwhile, for special skin care, G-ma's Goatmilk Soap is proud to make available; our latest variety of Goatmilk Soap: HEMP Oil. I'll be honest, I purchased the oil, this is one that I'm not growing or processing myself! It will be available by the end of the week! Be sure to visit the Store
