Prepping

It has come to my attention that those of us who call ourselves Torah observant or TO for short, are moving into the same mode as the Christianity or Judaism that was left behind.  We are beginning to put "self" and opinion right in the middle of our beliefs.

I'm not doing everything right, I assure you, and although I have a great many more answers than I had a decade ago, I still do not have all the answers.  Seems the more answers I get, the more I question what it is we think we are preparing for.  YHWH has allowed me to see some crazy things these past few years.  I've met people who can condiments, not relishes, but store bought sealed condiments get opened and canned into Mason jars.  I've seen men who are always armed.  I've seen a number of folks decide they better live it up now, before it all hits the fan, and I'm guessing they plan to live off of someone else's hard work and preparation, when that time comes.

I heard a woman tell of a dream that her God showed her of a fruit cellar just full of preserved food.  She visited my place with a friend in August, so I was at the height of canning season.  A few months later after sharing this dream, asked me if I'd like her husband to come build me a fruit cellar.  I politely declined, but have gotten a chuckle every time I share that experience with others.

I don't call myself a "prepper."  I am hoping I'm an "occupying readier" since Y'hshuwah said to be ready and to occupy.  I am trying to keep real food available for the next generation, and be able to teach some simple sustainability according to our Creator's plan.  I'm not sure when the Second Coming will occur, but I'm quite certain the human race is not going to improve the conditions of earth, before that!
