Reaping and Sowing

Since gardening is a topic here at the homestead, and coming up very soon, G-d willing, I am happy to say; I want to talk a little about reaping what we sow! I don't always have the purest of motives, but last year, I truly did. When I heard YHWH tell me to enlarge the tent, I went about making arrangements to literally add on to the home place. Add on, I did! Truly, in my heart of hearts I thought I was adding on to accommodate others, and that may still be the case, but I thought folks would be arriving soon and I'd need to be able to give them adequate accommodations. Well, as it turned out, I did have a great deal of company for a time, but that's what it was. It was company, insisting upon guest status, while making themselves to home . . . there was an odd twist to the whole deal. Well, anyway, that got resolved and life moved on and in the last couple of weeks, YHWH began revealing to me His plan for these additions. He began to unfold, before me, an expansion of this ministry and this homestead endeavor. I had no idea! It is such an adventure. So, here I added on two very nice rooms, that I thought were for someone else, but YHWH is letting me enjoy them for now, and so . . . the breakfast nook has a book case and computer desk in the corner, as well as my drop leaf round table, ready at a moment's notice for a meeting of the five fold ministry, when they arrive. Then there is the addition to the west. It has become an awesome office, studio, den, you name it. I just got it all arranged today and truth be told, I'm exhausted, but in the words of Goldilocks, "It's just right!" Futon, fireplace, glider rocker, computer station, printers, and my favorite Bible. If it had a coffee pot, I could live there! Little did I know, what I was sowing in a spirit of sharing, I would reap in abundance to share beyond these four walls . . . I just love this homesteading life with G-d!
